MARS has a fleet of road ambulances spread throughout Zimbabwe, and ideally positioned to service not only the domestic market, but the Southern and Central African region as well. The company employs over 200 highly qualified professionals including doctors, nurses, ambulance technicians and medical dispatchers. These medical personnel have extensive experience and training in emergency evacuation and are on stand by 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
ROAD AMBULANCE FLEET
In addition to the air ambulance MARS has a fleet of over twenty four critical care road ambulances stationed at MARS bases across Zimbabwe. The fleet of critical care road ambulances are similarly equipped to advanced life support levels and highly trained medical teams are able to oxygenate, intubate, cardiovert and ventilate among other patient intervention measures. All MARS ambulances carry a full range of spinal immobililsation equipment. MARS has the ability to cater for new-borns, paediatrics and adults. The road ambulances have responded to over 200 000 medical emergencies in Zimbabwe.

We are committed to assisting people in distress from every sector of the population, 24 hours a day, seven days a week in emergency medical care.With operational centres in Harare, Bulawayo, Victoria Falls, Mutare, Masvingo, Gweru, Marondera, Kariba, Kwekwe and Kadoma manned by caring professionals, emergency calls received at any time, day or night, are responded to.

In every medical emergency, rapid response and professional attention from medical staff are most critical in ensuring the future well being of the patient. The MARS medical personnel are in constant contact with the central national control centre from the outset of responding to an emergency call, to reporting on patient’s condition and organizing hospital care for the patient.
